Designer runway looks for Spring 2015 were bright and sweet as Spring should be! To sum it up for you, I’ve created a trend report of what I’ve seen on the runways and what is going to be hitting the stores this season. Each look can be dressed up or down for any occasion and they’re cute enough to stick around for seasons to come!
This Spring is going to be full of fun colorful suede dresses with girly details. Suede is sweeter and softer than leather and is really fun to wear! This Spring look is bright but suede works for both daytime and nighttime looks.
Alberta Ferretti’s lavender fringe dress is very sweet with its flirty flared skirt. I love how this dress was paired with leather lace up sandals for a bohemian daytime look.
Tommy Hilfiger’s dress is a spunky red with cut out star details on the skirt and the neckline is a crew neck with mesh details. You can pair it with shiny red booties like these for a night out with your girlfriends or dress it down with black flats for a daytime look.
Altuzarra’s lovely mustard suede dress is gorgeous! The low neckline is very sexy but when paired with the pencil skirt, it makes it more sophisticated. It can be flaunted at the office or a fancy dinner with some heels, or throw on some leather sandals and wear it to brunch.
Chloé’s blush suede dress is adorable yet sexy, it’s belted at the waist to give it more shape and has a fun tied collar detail. This dress is short enough to be flirty for date night yet sophisticated enough for the office while remaining chic.
Army green has never really left American closets since the 60’s/70’s and has become a staple color that goes with everything. These fun and very detailed army dresses are masculine yet very chic. Colored suede has also transferred over very well to this look along with more masculine fabrics and embellishments to keep the army look alive.
Gucci has a lovely army green dress that is belted with an asymmetrical lace up neckline to give it a sexy edge. This look can be paired with leather sandals and worn to lunch and shopping with friends.
Jason Wu’s army dress is made of a lovely suede with open collars and a belt to hold it all together. Pair it with some heels for an edgy nighttime look.
Marc Jacobs’ military dress is long and boxy with big pockets and brass closures. Pair it with some black heeled boots for an edgy daytime look.
Ralph Lauren’s army dress is also made of a bright suede and is belted at the waist for a sexy and adventurous look.
Gingham is huge! We’ve seen it throughout history in trousers and jackets, but this season is all about dresses and two piece looks in hues of blue.
Oscar De La Renta designed this gorgeous two piece look that can be worn together or as two separate outfits. Pair this look with some sandals and a big floppy hat for the perfect Spring daytime outfit.
Altuzarra designed this classic yet sexy dress with a slit up the middle of the skirt. You can dress this look up with pumps and wear it out to dinner with your significant other.
Diane Von Furstenberg designed this navy blue shirt and short two piece look. This Mod outfit looks comfortable and can be worn with booties or boots for a spunky daytime look.
Ralph Lauren’s pale blue gingham skirt is flirty and sweet as can be! Pair it with any top for a fun Spring look.
