Spring 2015 Beauty Trends by @ShainnenHart
I love to keep makeup lovers like you updated on current street and high fashion beauty trends. In this quick blog post, I’ll be reporting to you about makeup trends from the 2015 Spring runway shows and I’ll be giving you quick tips as to how to recreate the look on your own on a budget.
1. Graphic Gel Eyeliner
This new trend is basically a daring step up from your basic cat eye look. For that, you need a gel-like consistency in your liner that really sticks to the skin, yet is easy to work with and lasts for a long time. Try using the Maybelline New York Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner for those looking for a liner that won’t break the bank.
2. Fire Lips
The Pantone Color of the Year is Marsala and it has kicked off as a revolutionary reminiscent of the 1990’s, but trend reports are showing that makeup artists are still picking up that fiery and tasteful shade to prepare us for Summer. Pick up Wet n Wild’s Mega Last Lipstick in Purty Persimmon or Cherry Bomb on Amazon for a great price.
3. Bronzing vs. Contouring
Makeup artists have been using tricks to avoid over contouring, one trick is to use bronzer. It is intended to use only where you would apply highlighter or the highest points of the face to give an illusion that the skin has been getting a little bit of color from the sun. Bronzer is a great way to give your cheekbones a natural looking sun kissed glow. I recommend NYC’s Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny as a great option for those on a budget.
I hope you have enjoyed these Spring 2015 beauty trends! Let me know in the comments below which trend you’re considering rocking this season!
