DIY Peacock Feather Tiara @AmongThorns13 @Miss_Lindo
I recently had the pleasure of working with Dynamite Editorials and TNT Tauna on a high fashion photo shoot in the desert. The shoot took place in Wildomar California on a horse ranch. Cool right?!? I had the task of coming up with some props to be used in the shoot with the models. We were going to be working with beautiful majestic horses so of course I thought we needed a tiara for a beautiful Princess.

To make your own tiara you will need the following.

Supplies needed:

Plastic Head Band (any color)

Plastic Bicone Beads (any color and size will do)

Jewelry or Floral Wire

1/8 inch ribbon

Wire cutters

Hot Glue or E6000

and Feathers TONS of Feathers

I got the basic idea for the Tiara from Thread Bangers You-tube channel. I posted their video link below.

After that I did my own thing.

Once you are all done with the wire and beads it’s time to get crazy with the feathers. I first used small black feathers and glued them down with E6000 glue. You can use Hot glue but be very careful.
So of course I forgot to take more pictures in between but I started adding the peacock feathers and just placed them where ever I felt they would work. To cover the front of the head band I layered feathers going horizontally. For the inside of the band I glued the ribbon to cover the ends of the feathers.
Now you have your very own tiara to show off at your next ball, or party or hey even just walking around the grocery store if that’s your thing. Look for 2 more DIY post of props from the photo shoot here on TNT Tauna.
Have fun creating,
